Dennis King is a longtime bicycle racer and race supporter in the SCNCA. Dennis has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, which is a plasma cell cancer that builds up in the bone marrow. The overall 5-year survival rate is around 50%. Dennis is the owner of Central Coast Tire and the only employee. Dennis is unable to work; he was released from the hospital on October 2, but was unable to walk unassisted. A GoFundMe has been set up to help Dennis with daily bills and medical expenses.
